Lil Cayenne

           Foaled in February of 2005, Lil’ Cayenne literally hit the ground running. That should come as no surprise to those who know how much her dam, Lil Bit loves to run! Born a lineback dun with a star and a few socks, Caye (pronounced KYE) is just as stout as her sire, Northern Song, measuring 13.3 hands at the shoulder. The only difference is that Caye is slowly but surely turning into a strawberry roan.

           A sweet, gentle attitude and lots of brains, Caye loves to learn and does her best to do everything that you ask of her. David started her under saddle in late summer of 2008. Later that fall we loaded Caye up and took her to her first show, the HOA/AIHR Nationals. David was so proud! Lil' Cayenne won Champion AA Halter Foals AND she captured the Reserve Grand Champion AA Halter Title for 2008! Not bad for her first time at a show!

           Caye also competed in several speed events. The most memorable was the partner events that she ran with her dam Lil Bit. Talk about some speed! She had never been pushed to run like that, but boy did she ever seem like a natural!
